Weekend Fryslân

Op zondagmiddag hebben we een vriend vanuit de scouting een feestje geeft omdat hij aankomende week 50 jaar wordt. Zodoende maken we er een weekend Fryslân van maken.
Op zaterdag brengen we eerst de tassen van de kids weg naar Krikkenhaar, daarna rijden we via Drenthe naar Fryslân. In Drenthe liggen een oudere caches welke we nodig hebben voor de challenges die we gaan doen. We volgen de cache route met een challenge die in een natuurgebied ligt, het is een eindje lopen maar dat is geen straf door dit gebied.
Daarna mogen we over een dijk een rij met challenges lopen, aangezien we om 17 uur in Harlingen moeten zijn zitten we krap in de tijd. Zodoende begin ik te lopen terwijl Jan de auto aan de andere kant zet. De caches zijn goed te vinden en het vlot lekker. We zijn keurig op tijd in Harlingen. Na het inchecken lopen we de stad in waar we bij het eetcafé Nooitgedacht erg goed hebben gegeten. 's avonds op koffievisite bij vrienden waarna we 5 nieuwere caches in de woonwijk nog oppakken voordat we gaan slapen.
De volgende ochtend gaan we een aantal caches aan de zeelijn pakken, zodoende krijgen we bijna alle gebieden vol waar je anders voor naar de eilanden moet. Wel erg mooie vergezichten gezien maar wat is het koud met deze wind. Wel een aantal erg leuke caches tegengekomen, o.a. een scorebord van kaatsen waaruit je de slotcode moest halen.
Daarna hebben we in Dokkum rondgelopen om wat Munzees te pakken, Flackstacks en in het midden van het stad een cache te pakken in de stilte tuin.
